Club Newsletter: The Informant
CCKC publishes a newsletter six times a year in even-numbered months. Copies are available by email as a PDF file in color or as a printed black & white version sent by regular USPS mail. To receive the PDF version send an email to {Denise Gordon} and state the address to receive the file if different from the "from" address on your email. Let Denise know if you prefer the printed edition.
The Informant deadlines are the fifth day of February, April, June, August, October, and December. Send your brags, photos, etc to Norma Woolf.
Awards
CCKC offers two types of awards for members: Member of the Year, given to a member who has gone above and beyond in contribution to the club; and title awards for members' achievements with their dogs. The title awards include special awards for versatility and home bred and handled dogs. We also select a recipient for AKC Good Sportsmanship recognition.
Member of the year is selected by a committee appointed by the board and is presented at the annual meeting in January.
Title awards are given at each meeting, and special title awards are presented at the annual meeting.
