(For information, contact Billie Thompson, billie@sagenhaftweims.com) The club picnic is in July, and the Christmas party is in December.

Annual elections are in January.

The club also hosts occasional dinner meetings at area restaurants. Contact the corresponding secretary at billie@sagenhaftweims.com for the meeting location if you would like to attend.

Some meetings also include short education programs on a variety of topics, including breed-specific dog sports (water work, carting, lure-coursing, etc.), search and rescue training and operations, canine health, AKC policies, and more.

Business meetings generally begin at 7:30 p.m. but may start later on program nights. Refreshments are served prior to the beginning of the meeting. Some meetings are preceded by programs that begin at 7 p.m.

The CCKC membership policy rewards members who attend two meetings per year and work in some capacity for the club. The board determines the reward each January for services rendered the preceding year. We also recognize the show and performance ring achievements of our members with plaques for titles and annual awards for versatility and championships earned by breeders who own and handle their own dogs.

Guests are welcome! Those who wish to apply for membership must attend two meetings and get signatures from two current members on an application.
